Job summary

FXI is seeking a skilled lab testing professional to perform daily foam tests, sample preparation, and data entry in a manufacturing QA environment. The role supports compliance with ISO/IEC17025 and ISO 9001 standards and requires independent time management and strong attention to detail.

The position involves collaboration with plant teams, leading corrective actions, and adherence to safety guidelines. Industry experience and ASQ CQI/CQT desirable for advancement.

Qualifications

• Must have High School diploma or GED; A.S. degree preferred.
• ASQ certification as CQI or CQT is desirable.
• Must have at least 2 years of lab testing experience.
• Direct experience within a manufacturing facility under an ISO, AS, IATF management systems with training as Manager/Lead/Technician/Auditor.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Must have excellent computer skills with all Microsoft applications.
• SAP experience desirable.
• Have working knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC17025 current requirements.
• Detail oriented and able to work independently and manage time.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily foam tests for the lab.
• Cut detailed test samples, perform data entry, issue certification of compliance to customers.
• Participates in and able to lead corrective action teams.
• Must be able to work scheduled and unscheduled overtime, including weekends.
• Effectively communicate with plant associates and Managers.
• Must be able to create and update JHA's, and SOP's.
• Follow all safety and housekeeping guidelines.
• Other tasks as assigned by Supervision.
