Job summary

DelGrosso Foods is seeking a detail-oriented QA/Lab Technician to monitor critical control points, conduct production lab testing, and retain samples to ensure product quality.

You will assist with ingredient and material specifications, support inspections and R&D tasks, and uphold confidentiality, integrity, and team collaboration in a fast-paced food processing environment. This role is on-site at our Altoona facility, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• Prefer minimum two-year degree in science or related field; or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor critical control points of food processing.
• Complete laboratory testing of production and retain samples.
• Monitor production line, specifically filling process.
• May assist in reviewing ingredient, raw material and product specifications.
• May assist with inspections and R&D tasks.
• Maintain and protect employee, customer, and consumer confidentiality.
• Report to and from work at assigned time.
• Must be honest and reliable.
• Must be able to work in a team atmosphere. Provide help and support to co-workers on an ongoing basis.
• Adhere to dress code policy.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
