Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy program training preferred.
• One year phlebotomy or specimen processing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and provide courteous laboratory service.
• Collect patient specimens across outpatient, inpatient, and emergency settings with minimal discomfort.
• Verify specimen requirements and instruct patients on self-collection when needed.
• Resolve specimen and order-related issues; document and recollect as needed.
• Process specimens and lab information; prepare for testing and data entry.
• Support safety culture and participate in quality improvement activities.
• Work hours per week per offer letter; may extend as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
