Responsibilities

• Professional Development — Maintain currency in the field through continuing education and mandatory trainings; participate in committees as needed.
• Process Improvement — Identify areas for improvement and help implement changes.
• Technical — Collect samples, receive and accession specimens, perform EPIC registrations and document activities.
• Customer Service — Interact with patients and families in a courteous, informative manner; provide education where appropriate.
• Department Support — Handle registrations, LIS/HIS entries, inventory, and monitor logs.
