Our client in Wilmington, MA is seeking a Laboratory Support Specialist for a long-term contract. The role offers a pay rate of $28.60/hr with a Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM EST schedule. Benefits include Medical, Paid Sick leave, and 401K.

Responsibilities

• Manage laboratory waste and coordinate waste pickups.
• Maintain chemical and consumables inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies.
• Perform equipment maintenance, calibration, preventive maintenance (PM), and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate shipping, receiving, customer visits, and lab coat management.
• Organize monthly lab meetings and support laboratory operations.
• Learn NGS library preparation workflows to assist with manual testing.
• Coordinate vendor visits, service contracts, and equipment/CapEx purchases with Procurement.
