Position Overview

Labcorp is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Supervisor in Brentwood, TN. This leadership role involves overseeing laboratory operations in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, aligning with our mission: "Improving Health, Improving Lives".

Work Schedule & Benefits

Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily laboratory operations
• Ensure accurate and timely test reporting
• Train and mentor laboratory staff
• Monitor workflow and staffing
• Maintain equipment and quality assurance records
• Implement process improvements
• Ensure compliance with regulations
• Handle administrative duties including payroll and personnel files

Minimum Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience as a Histotechnologist with a Bachelor's degree (additional experience with higher degrees)
• Previous supervisory experience preferred
• HT/HTL - ASCP certification preferred
• Knowledge of CLIA, CAP, and state regulations
• Proficiency with Laboratory Information Systems and Microsoft Office
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to make decisions in a dynamic environment
• Physical ability to perform job duties
