Job summary

Techmer PM is seeking an experienced Quality Control / Color Lab Supervisor to lead the daily operations of our QC and Color Laboratories at Clinton, TN. This On-Site role requires strong leadership, quality management, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure products meet customer expectations and QMS standards.

The candidate will supervise technicians, drive continuous improvement, coordinate with Manufacturing and Technical Services, and ensure proper documentation for product release.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Five (5) years of Quality Control experience OR two (2) years of Quality Supervision experience.
• Knowledge of QMS and ISO 9001 standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of the QC and Color Laboratories.
• Lead, coach, and develop Quality/Color Lab Technicians.
• Ensure accurate, timely product testing and documentation.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing and Technical Services to resolve quality and color issues.
• Review documentation required for product approval and release.
• Promote safety and conduct routine safety observations.
• Review production schedules and coordinate laboratory support.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
• Assist with nonconformance investigations and department budgeting.
• Support cross-functional teamwork and other duties as assigned.

Quality Control / Color Lab Supervisor

Department: Quality Control / Color Lab

Reports To: Quality Control / Color Lab Manager

Position Summary

Techmer PM is seeking an experienced and motivated Quality Control / Color Lab Supervisor to lead the daily operations of our QC and Color Laboratories. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring products consistently meet or exceed customer expectations while maintaining compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS), ISO 9001. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who excels in quality management, employee development, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of the QC and Color Laboratories.
• Lead, coach, and develop Quality/Color Lab Technicians.
• Ensure accurate, timely product testing and documentation.

Qualifications

Required

• High School Diploma or GED
• Five (5) years of Quality Control experience OR two (2) years of Quality Supervision experience

Preferred

• Manufacturing, plastics, polymer, or color concentrate experience
• Previous laboratory leadership experience

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Leadership and supervisory skills
• Knowledge of QMS, ISO 9001 standards
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and manufacturing/ERP systems.

Salary Range

• $75,000 - $90,000
