Job summary

• Perform Proctor compaction per ASTM D698/1557 (Standard & Modified).

Fenagh Engineering & Testing provides special inspections, materials testing, and geotechnical engineering services for a wide array of private and public sector clients.

We are looking for a Lab Soils Technician to work in our Round Rock, TX office.

Requirements

Certifications: (At least one of the following)

• SB 101 - Materials Property Specialist
• SB 201 - Moisture Density Specialist

Responsibilities

Ability to perform the following test methods with little to no supervision:

• ASTM C117/136 - Sieve Analysis (AASHTO/TxDOT equivalent)
• ASTM D698/1557 - Proctor Compaction (Standard & Modified) (AASHTO/TxDOT equivalent)

Skills/Requirements:

• 1+ years or experience preferred
• Familiar with ASTM/AASHTO/TxDot methods
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds
• Understanding of laboratory documentation and procedures
