Qualifications

Certification by ASCP MLS/MT/MLT or AMT MLT/MT is required.
3–5 years of microbiology culture plate reading preferred.
CAP accredited laboratory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Serves as a consultant to laboratory staff and other clinical staff as needed.
Performs precise diagnostic/analytic testing and collection of specimens.
Interprets, documents and reports test results.
Performs and evaluates quality control testing and executes instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
Verifies analytic accuracy, precision, sensitivity for test methods.
Provides excellent communication and interpersonal skills with all laboratory personnel, internal and external customers.
