Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Clinical Lab Scientist Informatics Analyst in Porterville, CA. This full-time role includes a sign-on bonus and involves performing a range of waived to highly complex tests, ensuring quality control, and reporting critical findings to physicians and staff.

The ideal candidate holds a California CLS license with 5+ years in a clinical lab, demonstrates strong instrument calibration, preventive maintenance, and supervision capabilities.

Qualifications

• Licensed California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS).
• Minimum 5+ years in a clinical laboratory setting.
• Experience with quality control, instrument calibration and preventive maintenance.
• Strong communication skills for reporting abnormal findings to physicians and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assess and care for patients across relevant ages.
• Perform waived to highly complex testing accurately.
• Log and review daily quality control within procedures.
• Carry out calibration, preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment.
• Report abnormal findings to physicians and nursing staff.
• Supervise lab procedures in absence of director/lead.
• Maintain on-site attendance and punctuality.
