Qualifications

• Knowledge from up to one year of college or technical training in medical sciences.
• Six months to one year of related work experience with medical terminology.
• Experience with word processing, databases and spreadsheets or equivalent.
• Basic Windows functionality and data-entry proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Enter test requests into a multi-screen program with accuracy and confirmation steps.
• Sort and open incoming packages; classify specimens and route for data entry.
• Communicate with lab personnel and courier staff to resolve issues and assist training.
• Perform backup courier, cleaning, filing and other duties as assigned.
