Job summary

The Medical College of Wisconsin, Inc. is seeking a research technician to assist with experimental design and data analysis for sponsored projects. You will perform routine and complex experiments, prepare media and culture cells, and monitor inventory while supporting protocol development.

You will record data, interpret results, and maintain equipment while collaborating with the PI and research staff. Some duties occur in the supervisor's absence, requiring reliability and strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least 1 year of lab/research experience.
• Experience with data handling and analysis is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine and complex experiments.
• Monitor inventory and order lab supplies.
• Prepare media and maintain cells.
• Participate in PI meetings and evaluate data.
• Oversee daily lab operations in the absence of supervisor.
• Develop and implement research protocols.
• Record and communicate summaries of results.
• Operate and maintain specialized equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
