Responsibilities

• Behavioral training and testing in monkeys.
• Maintain animal well-being.
• Work closely with attending veterinarian to formulate and execute treatment plans.
• Assist with experiments in awake and anesthetized animals.
• Prepare and assist with sterile surgery.
• Intubate, place IV catheters, and maintain subjects under anesthesia.
• Maintain animal records.
• Order supplies and manage lab inventory.
• Manage IACUC protocol and ensure lab compliance.
• Train new lab members on best practices.
• Assist with lab maintenance and cleaning.
