Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Laboratory Research Support — Assist with cell culture, microscopy, flow cytometry (FACS), and molecular biology procedures; document observations and consult with the PI or senior researchers about issues.
• Laboratory Maintenance and Technical Support — Maintain cell lines, coordinate shipments, prepare media and stock solutions; evaluate experimental results and communicate next steps.
• Inventory Management — Maintain inventories of consumables and reagents.
• Safety Compliance — Coordinate with safety offices; renew lab permits and protocols as needed.
• Administrative Liaison — Serve as liaison between lab and UC Berkeley admin offices.
• Financial Administration — Process and track reimbursements.
• Laboratory Engagement — Participate in lab meetings, journal clubs, and planning sessions.
