Job summary

IQVIA Laboratories in Durham, NC is seeking a Research Associate to perform technical laboratory procedures supporting sample analysis, method development, and validation. You will generate high-quality data, document results, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to continuous improvement in line with procedures and regulatory guidelines.

The role requires a Bachelor's in biology, chemistry, or related field, with 0-2 years of related experience or a Master's degree.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry or related field is required.
Basic knowledge of method development and analytical techniques.
Understanding of sample handling and preparation.
Working knowledge of regulatory agency standards.

Responsibilities

Perform and document analytical procedures in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
Execute routine methods and assays under moderate supervision, supporting method development and validation activities.
Contribute to technical discussions, experimental design, data review, and sponsor inquiries.
Troubleshoot laboratory processes and equipment to improve data quality and turnaround times.
Prepare data analysis results for upload to LIMS under senior staff guidance.
Prepare buffers and solutions for analysis.
Calibrate, maintain, and train on lab equipment; ensure safety and quality initiatives.
