Job summary

IQVIA Laboratories in Durham is seeking a Lab Associate to join our team. You will perform routine laboratory testing procedures to generate data used in clinical trials research, following SOPs and regulatory requirements.

You will support daily lab operations through specimen analysis, result documentation, material preparation, and collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders, while adhering to GLP and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 6 months relevant lab experience or equivalent mix of education and training
• Basic knowledge of GLP and regulatory standards
• Knowledge of lab safety and infection control procedures

Responsibilities

• Perform routine analysis of specimens and document results in accordance with SOPs and applicable regulatory guidelines
• Evaluate the validity of analytical results against algorithms displayed by the laboratory computer system
• Identify, document, and escalate potential performance errors or unusual results to senior laboratory personnel
• Prepare buffers and solutions required for analysis and manage post-analysis sample and reagent storage
• Assist with laboratory housekeeping, supply monitoring, and communication with cross-functional stakeholders
