Mount Sinai is seeking an Associate Researcher to support ongoing orthopaedic research projects. The role focuses on conducting routine experiments under supervision, performing assays, and assisting with data interpretation and preparation for publication.

The position involves maintaining the lab environment, managing inventory, and aiding in sample handling and shipment as needed. A Bachelor’s degree in a science field is preferred, with 0–2 years of lab experience.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in science or related field preferred, or combination of relevant research experience and education.
• 0-2 years of research/laboratory experience.

Responsabilidades

• Under direct supervision, conducts routine and standardized experiments using appropriate research techniques.
• Analyzes and assists in interpreting laboratory results.
• Performs assays to support research studies.
• Maintains laboratory environment and assists in upkeep of inventory; may order supplies.
• Logs and tests samples; prepares and submits materials for shipment.
• Assists in collection, analysis and review of experimental data for publication and presentation.
• Performs other related duties.
