Job summary

Mount Sinai seeks an Associate Researcher I to conduct routine and standardized experiments in a laboratory setting. You will assist in interpreting results, perform assays, and support clerical and supply tasks essential to the research program.

You will contribute to data collection, analysis, and preparation of materials for publication, while maintaining a well-organized lab environment and adhering to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in science or related field.
• No experience required. One year of research experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts routine and standardized experiments using appropriate research techniques.
• Analyzes and assists in interpreting moderately complex results.
• Analyzes and assists in interpreting laboratory results.
• Performs assays to support research studies.
• Maintains laboratory environment and assists in the upkeep of inventory; may include ordering of supplies.
• Logs and tests samples; prepares and submits laboratory materials and specimens for shipment.
• Assists in new and unexpected research experiments and techniques.
• Assists in the collection, analysis and review of experimental data for publication and presentation.
• Performs other related duties.

Education
