Job summary

Mount Sinai Medical Center of Florida, Inc. is seeking a Manager - Laboratory Quality to oversee quality reporting, incident review, and compliance across multiple sites.

The role collaborates with Ethics and Compliance, Patient Safety, and Laboratory leadership to maintain high standards of care. The position requires Florida licensure eligibility, 3–5 years in a supervisory lab role, and experience with CAP checklists and teaching support.

Qualifications

• Licensed or eligible as a Laboratory Supervisor in Florida.
• 3–5 years in a supervisory role or Medical Technologist III.
• Experience with laboratory quality reporting and compliance processes.

Responsibilities

• Compiles monthly, quarterly and annual quality reports.
• Reviews Critical Value reports and forwards actionable items to the appropriate manager.
• Tabsulates reports that impact laboratory quality reporting for leadership.
• Reviews incident reports and includes in quality measures.
• Assists with CAP Laboratory General checklist reviews and recommends changes.
• Supports Pathology teaching program with lectures and education as needed.
• Represents the department at Ethics and Compliance and Patient Safety committees.
