Sentara Health in Norfolk, VA is seeking an experienced Laboratory Quality Coordinator to work full time days in the Quality Management Department. This position is based in Hampton, VA, with travel to Charlottesville, Harrisonburg, Woodbridge, and South Boston.

The coordinator will manage processes to maintain accreditation and regulatory compliance system-wide, collaborating with leadership and laboratory staff to meet survey readiness goals, and to clarify standards for ongoing compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a clinical or medical laboratory setting.
• 3 years in quality improvement initiatives within labs.
• 3 years in laboratory regulatory/compliance activities.
• 3 years ensuring laboratory safety practices.
• 3 years experience with accreditation and regulatory processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage processes to maintain accreditation and regulatory compliance system-wide.
• Collaborate with leadership, medical and laboratory staff to ensure survey readiness.
• Research and clarify standard compliance requirements while updating leadership on progress.
