Job summary

Aviagen is seeking an entry-level Lab Quality Systems coordinator to manage daily operations of the laboratory quality system and ensure ISO compliance. You will coordinate activities, monitor performance, and distribute reports while liaising with Lab Quality and Technical Specialists.

You will work under supervision, learn role specifics, and contribute to maintaining sample integrity and biosecurity across the farm environment.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Able to follow instructions and work under supervision.
• Comfortable with technology and computers.
• Able to lift, bend and stand for long periods around animals.

Responsibilities

• Obtain quality blood samples with minimal stress for birds.
• Ensure blood samples are organized and wingbands assigned correctly.
• Maintain inventory of DNA supplies to prevent delays.
• Maintain pen, house and personal supply hygiene.
• Communicate effectively with team and manager.
• Report welfare, biosecurity and equipment concerns as needed.
