Job summary

Aviagen is seeking a Laboratory Quality Systems Coordinator to manage the day-to-day operations of the laboratory quality system, coordinate ISO technical requirements, monitor performance, and distribute reports. You will liaise with internal Lab Quality and Technical Specialists to ensure compliance.

The role requires a High School diploma, strong communication and organizational skills, proficiency with Excel and Word, a team focus, a valid driver’s license, and a willingness to work weekends

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Self-motivator with accuracy and efficiency.
• Good communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Team oriented.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Proficient with computers, including Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Leadership experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Bacteriology: Set up cultures, identify bacteria, report results.
• Prepare equipment and supplies; wash and disinfect equipment for farm use; wash glassware; autoclave materials.
• Quality Control: Evaluate and communicate problems in test procedures to the supervisor.
• Learn new procedures as they become part of routine tests and comply with ISO standards.
• Weekend availability is required as Bacteriology Department operates seven days a week.
• Comply with ISO Standards.
