Job summary

CHRISTUS Health seeks a Program Manager of Laboratory Quality and Compliance to lead compliance policies, training, audits, incident investigations, and reporting. The role coordinates teams to strengthen customer relations, supports strategic planning and measurement systems for organizational improvement, and identifies opportunities to enhance services through technology and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology, Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent degree required.
• Active MLS from ASCP required; certification emphasized.
• Deadline-oriented and able to multi-task.
• Advanced knowledge of the healthcare industry is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meets expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
• Support system-wide strategy to improve quality, safety, and compliance across CHRISTUS Health.
• Coordinate with Laboratory Leaders across ministries to develop action plans addressing performance variances and safety events.
• Assist in developing, reviewing, revising, and implementing policies and procedures aligned with CHRISTUS Health goals.
• Mentor project teams in governance and compliance and drive process improvements across Laboratory service lines.
• Act as liaison to CHRISTUS Health departments and gather information to implement solutions.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology, Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent degree required
