Job Title: Medical Laboratory Science Program Coordinator

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the organization, administration, periodic review, planning, development, budget preparation, evaluation, and overall effectiveness of the Medical Laboratory Science program in accordance with the NAACLS standards for accreditation.
• Appoints faculty, coordinates program reviews and updates, manages admissions, acts as liaison with academic and clinical affiliates, oversees faculty, instructors, and students, grants certificates of completion, and maintains transcripts and certificates.
• Serves as the Safety Officer for the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology Services.

Education Requirements:

• Master's Degree

Experience:

• Relevant Experience

Certification and Licensure:

• ASCP-BOC or ASCP-BOC generalist certification as Medical Laboratory Scientist/Technologist
