Job summary

Baptist Health Floyd in Southern Indiana/Louisville, Kentucky area is seeking a Laboratory Process Aide/Receptionist for PRN (work as needed). The role involves processing, ordering testing, accessioning specimens, and creating batches for core lab and reference testing.

Responsibilities include answering phones, relaying patient results, monitoring logs, and assisting with quality control tasks. Some phlebotomy testing may be performed, and on-the-job training is available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy experience or certification from accredited school preferred, however can train 8 weeks on the job.

Responsibilities

• Process specimens and order testing, accession specimens, create batches for core lab/reference testing.
• Answer phones, relay patient results, monitor logs and assist with quality control tasks.
• May perform waived or moderately complex testing as required.
