Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Rocky Hill, CT is hiring a Prep Lab Assistant for a Monday to Friday 7:00AM - 3:30PM shift with rotational weekends. The role supports the General Lab Management department, handling samples, reagents, and routine testing under supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be flexible with respect to department scheduling needs.

Responsibilities

• Pick up samples from accessioning and sort into racks.
• Answer phones and direct calls appropriately.
• Unpack and store reagents and supplies.
• Inventory and order warehouse items.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and PPE compliance.
• Perform waived tests under supervision and assist with QA/QC duties.
• Prepare samples for processing and load equipment.
• Disposables and waste handling per protocol.
• Contribute to department quality and process improvements.
