Job summary

USTech Solutions seeks a Lab Operations leader to provide operational leadership and drive cross-functional projects in a dynamic laboratory environment. You will manage lab assets, coordinate with Facilities, Procurement, IT, and EH&S, and support capital planning and budgeting for impactful initiatives.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or Business, with substantial experience in laboratory operations, project management, and vendor coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with significant experience supporting laboratory operations and projects.
• Demonstrated ability to independently lead complex initiatives and manage competing priorities.
• Experience with vendor management, capital planning, and operational excellence programs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership for lab operations and issue resolution.
• Lead cross-functional projects: laboratory moves, infrastructure upgrades, equipment relocations, and facility initiatives.
• Manage lab assets and equipment through planning, procurement, installation, maintenance and decommissioning.
• Coordinate stakeholders across Facilities, Procurement, IT, EH&S, Finance, scientists, and external vendors.
• Support capital planning, budgets, PO processing, invoice management, and project tracking.
• Monitor performance, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency.
• Develop dashboards, project plans, and governance to improve visibility and execution.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce non-scientific work and enhance scientist experience.
