Job summary

Eurofins PSS Insourcing Solutions in the United States (New York) is recruiting for a laboratory technician to maintain supplies, manage reagents, and support multi-site operations. You will handle gases, monitor safety cabinets, and document activities per GDP and cGMP guidelines.

The role requires a Life Sciences degree (Bachelor's or Master’s) with related experience, physical fitness for lab duties, and the ability to commute between nearby sites. Competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences with 2 years of experience.
• Master's degree in Life Sciences.
• Ability to meet physical demands including lifting 25 lbs.
• Experience with Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
• Willing to commute between sites (<5 miles).
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Maintain laboratory supplies and reagents inventory.
• Handle and move compressed gases and cryogenic liquids safely.
• Clean and monitor BSCs, fume hoods, and temperature units.
• Use electronic systems to track maintenance and calibration.
• Coordinate workflows between teams using electronic systems.
• Manage lab notebooks and documentation per GDP.
• Assist in cross-site coordination and safety trainings.
• Oversee labeling and organization of lab spaces.
• Occasional overtime and weekend shifts as required.
