Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking a Laboratory Research Operations Analyst to provide professional technical and operational leadership within the Neurology Department and Bonet-Ponce lab. This role supports laboratory operations, including design, construction, and maintenance of specialized research equipment and experimental rigs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
2 years of relevant experience required.
2-4 years of relevant experience preferred.
Requires successful background check; may require pre-employment physical/drug screen.

Responsibilities

Provide professional technical and operational leadership within the Neurology Department and Bonet-Ponce lab.
Support laboratory operations, including design, construction, and maintenance of specialized research equipment and rigs.
Ensure compliance with university, state, and federal regulations (OSHA, EHS, Export Control).
Serve as first point of contact on lab infrastructure and safety; collaborate with faculty and staff.
Mentor students and junior personnel to uphold best practices and operational excellence.
On-call to address urgent issues, equipment failures, or time-sensitive needs.
