Job summary

Lab Mgr, Research Institute at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, Columbus, OH. Oversee daily operations, research activities & compliance of Laboratory of Vascular & Matrix Genetics (LVMG).

Ensure smooth lab function, maintain high research quality & safety standards & support Principal Investigator (PI) in advancing scientific aims. Supervise technical staff, manage resources, lead independent projects, & provide training & mentorship to new lab members.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in relevant biosciences.
• 3+ years of professional experience including lab operations management.
• Experience with molecular biology workflows, histology, IHC/IF, imaging.
• Data analysis and publication-ready figure creation.
• Experience with mouse colonies, in vivo work, and sequencing data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and ensure research quality and safety standards.
• Supervise technical staff and mentor new lab members.
• Support PI in advancing scientific aims and manage resources.
