Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related field.
• Current MT/MLS certification from a recognized accrediting agency.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Medical Technologist.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the daily operations of the laboratory, including scheduling and assigning tasks to laboratory staff.
• Perform and supervise a variety of laboratory tests and procedures, including hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and blood bank.
• Ensure accuracy and quality control of all laboratory testing and results.
• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Train and mentor laboratory staff on new procedures and protocols.
• Collaborate with other departments and healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely test results.
• Monitor inventory levels and order necessary supplies.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.
• Participate in continuing education and stay updated on new technologies and advancements in the field.
