Qualifications

• An Associate's degree or educational equivalent in medical technology is required.
• 6 months of experience in a regulated laboratory environment.
• Proficiency with laboratory techniques, including the preparation of buffers and solutions and the handling of batches and specimens.
• Experience using automation or specialized laboratory equipment.
• Proficiency with routine and some non-routine laboratory calculations, including averages, means, standard deviations, and quality control metrics.
• An applicable certification required by country, state, or other relevant regulatory body is required.
• Other equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document analytical procedures in accordance with standard operating procedures and regulatory guidelines.
• Analyze routine data, confirm results are within acceptable tolerances, and escalate unusual findings or potential performance errors.
• Prepare buffers and solutions and support the upload of analytical results into the laboratory information management system.
• Perform and document assigned equipment calibration and maintenance activities.
• Assist with quality investigations, deviations, procedural updates, and the implementation of laboratory process changes.
• Train and guide laboratory personnel on routine procedures in areas of demonstrated competency.
• Communicate clearly and promptly with cross-functional stakeholders and represent the laboratory team on assigned projects.
• Support laboratory safety, quality, inventory, continuing education, and 6S initiatives.
