Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC seeks a Lab Operations Manager to own end-to-end facility program processes within a satellite production environment, serving as the primary interface between operations and cross-functional teams across Leo Manufacturing.

You will drive intake governance, unblock projects, and align stakeholders to deliver timely solutions, while building scalable frameworks and dashboards to improve efficiency and the workplace experience.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in program or project management.
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
  • 5+ years of working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience managing complex project schedules and stakeholder coordination.
  • Experience defining or implementing repeatable operational processes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience documenting and reporting on program health.

Responsibilities

  • Support Leo Workplace Operation in the end-to-end facility lifecycle process: project intake → execution planning → progress tracking → closeout.
  • Support change request governance, documentation, and tracking mechanisms.
  • Serve as LWO’s first point of contact for support requests, intake submissions, and user questions.
  • Coordinate layout changes, equipment moves, site visits, and infrastructure upgrades in partnership with Design & Construction (D&C) and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS).
  • Support planned and unplanned facility outages in partnership with Facilities Management and internal leadership; schedule flexibility is a must.
  • Conduct regular facility audits and track local metrics related to compliance, usage, and support needs.
  • Proactively remain informed of inflight projects and workback schedules, escalating blockers as needed.
  • Serve as the central liaison for tooling, dashboarding, and asset tracking workstreams.
  • Support cross-functional meetings (e.g., with D&C, EHS, IT), ensuring clear notes, follow-ups, and timely execution.
  • Monitor program health metrics and report regularly on progress, risks, and upcoming projects.
  • Drive continuous improvement of operations through process standardization and stakeholder feedback loops.
