Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science, medical laboratory technology, or cytotechnology
• Six months of experience in a regulated laboratory environment is preferred
• Basic knowledge of the assigned technical area, laboratory systems, procedures, and applicable regulatory standards (e.g., GLP)
• Proficiency with laboratory techniques including buffer/solution preparation, calibration and maintenance
• Experience with laboratory automation or specialized equipment
• Proficiency with routine and non-routine laboratory calculations and quality control metrics
• Certifications required by country/state must be maintained
• Other equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree

Responsibilities

• Perform and document analytical procedures according to SOPs and regulatory guidelines
• Analyze routine data and escalate unusual results to senior personnel
• Prepare analytical results for upload into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
• Prepare buffers and solutions and perform calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment
• Assist with quality investigations, deviations, and procedural updates
• Train and guide laboratory personnel and support onboarding of new team members
• Communicate clearly with cross-functional stakeholders and represent the lab on projects
• Support safety, quality, inventory, and 6S initiatives and requirements
