Job summary

Alturas Analytics, Inc. is seeking a Laboratory Operations Assistant to support facilities and the laboratory team in Moscow, Idaho. The role focuses on maintaining supplies, preparing reagents, keeping equipment and facilities in good order, and supporting day-to-day operations that drive quality research.

The position is on-site only in Moscow, Idaho, with a starting pay of $19.71 per hour and a range of benefits designed to support employees and their families.

Responsibilities

• Maintains all facilities and laboratory supplies (including receipt, stock, inventory, and disposal)
• Prepares various reagents and solutions for laboratory use
• Assists laboratory personnel to enable efficient laboratory operations
• Assists the Sample Management Group with sorting and disposition of samples
• Assists with sample preparation
• Maintains laboratory waste disposal and recycling
• Performs routine facility maintenance and inspections
• Maintains equipment per GLP regulations
• Ships equipment and supplies as required by facility and laboratory operations
• Assists with equipment installations
• Performs other duties as needed or assigned
