Job summary

SCC Soft Computer is seeking a Lab/Microbiology Associate Technical Support Specialist to join our Technical Support Center in Clearwater, FL. This role provides initial technical support for our Laboratory Information System (LIS) solutions, including SoftLab, SoftMic, SoftTQC, and SoftWeb.

Qualifications include an associate degree or higher in Medical Laboratory Technology, Biology, Microbiology, Biomedical Sciences, or Information Technology; two years of clinical lab, healthcare IT, or

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Medical Laboratory Technology, Biology, Microbiology, Biomedical Sciences, Information Technology.
• Two years of clinical laboratory, healthcare IT, or technical support experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Chemistry, Hematology, and/or Microbiology laboratory workflows preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the initial contact for Lab and Microbiology client support issues.
• Document and manage tasks in the Case Management System.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of application, system, and hardware issues.
• Identify and escalation system-critical or complex issues.
• Gather diagnostic information and route tasks to the appropriate technical teams.
• Proactively communicate with clients regarding support needs.
• Maintain compliance with FDA, HIPAA, and departmental requirements.

SCC Soft Computer is seeking a Lab/Microbiology Associate Technical Support Specialist to join our Technical Support Center. This position provides initial technical support for our Laboratory Information System (LIS) solutions, including SoftLab, SoftMic, SoftTQC, and SoftWeb.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the initial contact for Lab and Microbiology client support issues.

• Knowledge of Chemistry, Hematology, and/or Microbiology laboratory workflows preferred.
• Strong communication, customer service, computer, and problem-solving skills.
