Anticipated Start Date: January 2027. The candidate will contribute to studies in microbial pathogenesis, antibiotic discovery, endocrine physiology, and skeletal biology, while supporting lab operations and grant activities.

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in Biology, Biomedical Sciences, Molecular Biology, Physiology, Microbiology, or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant laboratory research experience.
• Strong scientific writing and communication skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge of biomedical laboratory methodologies.
• Ability to work independently while contributing within a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, conduct, troubleshoot, and analyze biomedical research experiments.
• Develop and optimize experimental protocols.
• Interpret and present scientific findings; contribute to publications and grant activities.
• Train and mentor undergraduate researchers; guide in techniques and data analysis.
• Maintain laboratory organization; manage inventories, equipment, and supplies.
• Coordinate purchasing, maintenance, and quality assurance; oversee cultures and stocks.
• Coordinate resources and personnel; track milestones; adapt plans as needed.
• Coordinate and participate in approved animal research activities; monitor health and records.
