• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Metrology, or a related technical discipline.
• At least two years of relevant laboratory experience, including coordination or supervision.
• Ability to independently conduct testing, interpret results, and troubleshoot issues.
• Working knowledge of engineering drawings, GD&T, measurement equipment, and instrument calibration.
• Practical knowledge of testing methods, such as tensile, hardness, destructive, surface roughness, color, gloss, weld, and metallographic testing.
• Strong data analysis, documentation, and problem‑solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to organize competing priorities and lead a team in a manufacturing environment.

Responsabilidades

• Independently perform and oversee dimensional inspection, material testing, and product evaluation per specs and customer requirements.
• Supervise laboratory and measurement personnel, including assignments, training, and performance evaluation.
• Establish and maintain laboratory procedures, schedules, and annual work plans.
• Manage laboratory equipment operation, maintenance, calibration, records, and procurement planning.
• Review data, verify reports, and investigate abnormal results.
• Provide technical guidance on measurement methods, testing equipment, and result interpretation.
• Support development and validation of new testing methods.
• Coordinate laboratory audits, proficiency testing, and inter-laboratory comparisons.
• Maintain organized testing documentation and calibration records.
• Implement laboratory safety procedures, including chemical handling and waste disposal.
• Coordinate with Quality, Production, Engineering to prioritize testing and support problem resolution.
