Job summary

Eurofins PSS Insourcing Solutions is seeking a Laboratory Instrument Coordination Specialist to support the Department of Pharmaceutical Analysis and Digital Technologies in Rahway, NJ. You will work with the metrology and validation team to support cGMP operations.

The role requires maintaining lab instrument maintenance, calibration schedules, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure compliance and quality. Position is full-time with competitive benefits and a risk-managed environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific concentration.
• At least one year of experience in a cGMP environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Support instrument maintenance, calibration and qualification (HPLCs, plate readers, balances, FTIR, etc.).
• Review and file documents in line with cGMP record-keeping.

Job Description

Eurofins PSS seeks a Laboratory Instrument Coordination Specialist to support our client’s Department of Pharmaceutical Analysis and Digital Technologies in their Rahway, NJ facility. In this position, you will work with the metrology and validation team within analytical laboratories to support cGMP operations.

The responsibilities of the candidate include but are not limited to:

• Supporting/overseeing instrument maintenance, calibration, and qualification including HPLCs, Plate Readers, balances, FTIRs, etc.


• Reviewing and filing documents consistent with cGMP record keeping


• Maintaining inventory of laboratory instruments utilizing various applications


• Supporting in new laboratory system installations & Qualifications


• Liaises closely with cross-functional teams to support compliance activities


• Authoring change controls and deviations when necessary


• Carries out all assignments to the standards of efficiency, innovation, accuracy and safety in accordance with applicable requirements


• The role may require utilizing a company vehicle (car) to transport service providers across site.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements

• Completed Bachelors degree in a scientific concentration


• At least one year experience working in a cGMP environment


• Proficient with Microsoft Office products


• Valid Drivers License, the role may require utilizing a company vehicle (car) to transport service provides across site.


• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

The ideal candidate will have

• Strong time management and organizational skills


• Excellent oral and written communication skills


• Experience supporting analytical laboratory equipment including but not limited to balances, calibration weights, pH meters, Liquid Chromatographs (LCs) and Gas Chromatographs (GCs)

Additional Information

Position is full-time, Mon-Fri 9am-5pm. Compensation is at $24-25/hr depending on experience.
