Job summary

QRC Group in Gurabo, Puerto Rico is seeking a Laboratory Equipment Calibration & Troubleshooting Specialist to ensure accuracy and compliance of calibration records. You will review calibration data, monitor schedules, and help maintain instrument performance.

The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, strong data analysis, and collaboration with quality and maintenance teams to keep laboratory equipment reliable and in regulatory environments.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in engineering, life sciences, chemistry, biotechnology, or related field.
• Experience with calibration, maintenance, or instrumentation.
• Understanding of calibration records, documentation practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Hands-on troubleshooting of laboratory instruments.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and resolve equipment issues.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify laboratory equipment calibration data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor calibration schedules and support preventive maintenance activities.
• Investigate calibration discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Troubleshoot laboratory equipment issues and coordinate repairs or maintenance.
• Collaborate with laboratory personnel, quality teams, and maintenance groups to ensure equipment reliability.
• Maintain documentation related to calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment performance and compliance.
