Job summary

Eurofins Viracor BioPharma Services in Lancaster, PA seeks a Supervisor Group Lead to provide technical and operational support, prioritize workload, train staff, and ensure timely data reporting. The position runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM with additional hours as needed; candidates must have a chemistry-related degree and GC experience, plus

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Chemistry or related field; 6 years experience in lieu of degree
• Knowledge of computer systems
• 4 years’ experience in a laboratory; 1 year leadership in lab procedures
• GC-ECD or GC-FID experience
• Professional working proficiency in English
• US work authorization without restrictions or sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and prioritize lab workload to meet client requirements
• Manage internal projects ensuring on-time delivery and turnaround targets
• Release samples and communicate due dates; monitor hold times
• Train new analysts and develop staff in skills and procedures
• Set staff schedules and review time off requests
• Prepare department reports and track productivity
• Maintain EH&S compliance and QC samples for accreditation
• Participate in hiring decisions and staff performance reviews
• Contribute to process improvements and project management
