Antech Diagnostics is seeking a Laboratory Generalist 1 to receive and prepare samples for analysis, operate analyzers, and release results. The role supports quality control and ongoing training within a fast-paced lab environment.
Shift is 10pm–6:30am, Monday–Saturday with two days off weekly. Target pay is $22.00 per hour, with pay decisions based on skills, experience, and budget. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work around lab hazards with PPE.

The Laboratory Generalist 1 receives and prepares samples for laboratory analysis and tests, sets up instruments, runs tests and reads, interprets, and releases results.

Stationary Position- must be able to remain in a stationary position for up to 2 hours. Constantly operates a computer and other lab equipment accurately and efficiently. Occasionally required to bend, kneel, stoop, or crouch. May be required to lift, move, and carry up to 50 lbs. Heavy microscopic work. The ability to observe details at close range. Proficiency in the English language which allows for participation in team meetings, accurate entry of data into company systems and understanding of written directions. Extended hours may be needed. Laboratory environments with potential biohazards present that are mitigated by the mandatory use of PPE. Work under close to moderate supervision. Potential for exposure to agents known to cause zoonotic disease in humans and use of potentially hazardous chemicals as defined by the National Hazard Communication Standards.
