Job summary

Pace Analytical Services LLC in Indianapolis is seeking a Facilities Technician to support lab operations by managing procurement, inventory, and maintenance scheduling, ensuring safe and compliant facilities.

You will coordinate service for equipment, monitor environmental systems, and contribute to a cooperative, safe workplace. A bachelor’s degree in business or science or equivalent is required; lab experience preferred; valid driver's license a must.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of procurement policies and procedures.
• Experience with laboratory safety policies and waste disposal practices.
• Ability to work with vendors and service providers.
• Experience with records management principles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Procure supplies and manage inventory for the lab and facilities.
• Test and monitor systems (e.g., fume hoods, water purification) and submit reports.
• Schedule and coordinate preventive maintenance for equipment.
• Monitor facility systems and coordinate service actions as needed.
• Assist with lab environmental monitoring and waste disposal investigations.
• Maintain overall lab conditions and promote safety and teamwork.
