Job summary

Pace Analytical in Indianapolis, IN, is seeking a Facilities Technician to provide varied logistical and technical support for the lab’s operations. The role covers procurement, inventory control, and coordinating maintenance of lab equipment to ensure uninterrupted service.

The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in business or science or equivalent experience, and will work with EH&S policies, waste disposal, and vendor relations to keep the facility compliant and efficient.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or science or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of lab policies and safety practices.
• Experience with procurement processes and vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Manages procurement, receipt, and inventory of laboratory and building supplies.
• Manages testing and reporting of systems (fume hoods, water purification) and maintains records.
• Schedules service and preventative maintenance of equipment and lab systems.
• Monitors facility systems and coordinates maintenance as needed.
• Assists with environmental monitoring and waste system investigations.
• Ensures lab conditions, waste disposal, and EH&S compliance.
