Job summary

Element Materials Technology is seeking an Engineer to join our expanding operations team. The role involves performing routine and non-routine testing with minimal supervision and ensuring timely, accurate results.

You will lead testing activities, analyze data, and communicate findings to customers and stakeholders while upholding safety and company policies. Candidates should have a science or testing-related degree and at least two years of post-degree engineering experience.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of laboratory safety procedures and regulations.
• Deep understanding of core engineering theories and concepts.
• Bachelor of Science degree in a science or testing related field.
• Minimum 2 years of post-degree engineering experience or equivalent qualifications.
• Ability to apply academic knowledge to Element’s business context.
• Strong understanding of testing concepts and data interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and support development of new technologies within a local laboratory.
• Ensure timely and accurate release of testing data to customers and sign-off of QC data.
• Oversee routine technical problem solving and adapt testing approaches as needed.
• Interact with customers on technical issues and questions, and present testing results.
• Support business development opportunities with new or existing customers.
