Responsibilities

• Operate oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and RSA for hardware testing and analysis.
• Perform I-V characterization on a variety of electronic components and devices.
• Conduct RF testing and debugging to identify performance or design issues.
• Perform device teardown, disassembly/reassembly, and root cause/failure analysis.
• Document teardown procedures and test results with precision and clarity.
• Track test devices from initial intake through final resolution.
• Assist software teams by locating critical data within device file systems, under guidance.

Job description

• Operate oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and RSA (Real-Time Spectrum Analyzers) for hardware testing and analysis
• Perform I-V (current-voltage) characterization on a variety of electronic components and devices
• Conduct RF testing and debugging to identify performance or design issues
• Perform device teardown, disassembly/reassembly, and root cause/failure analysis
• Document teardown procedures and test results with precision and clarity
• Track test devices from initial intake through final resolution
• Assist software teams by locating critical data within device file systems, under guidance

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience working with lab instrumentation and basic test equipment
• Familiarity with procurement processes and inventory management for lab supplies and equipment
• Competency in configuring, calibrating, and operating electronic test instruments
• Ability to train and provide technical support to colleagues and team members
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to work effectively in collaborative, team-based environments
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of AI concepts and coding (e.g., Python) is a strong plus

Pay range and compensation package

$120,000 Annually
