Job Responsibilities

1. Responsible for pickup and delivery of medical specimens and lab supplies to designated locations in a timely manner.
2. Provide timely pickup and delivery of all lab supplies and lab packages.
3. Ensure lab orders are complete and organized prior to delivery.
4. Collaborate with staff to obtain the correct supplies and paperwork.
5. Adhere to delivery schedule and report to the hospital once deliveries are complete.
6. Perform daily cleaning of vehicle and maintain a vehicle maintenance log.
7. Monitor periodic maintenance and inspections.
8. Pick orders, unload trucks, and put supplies away in the stockroom.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving history.

Physical Requirements

The physical demands of this job include exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and up to 50 pounds frequently, with frequent standing, lifting, grasping, pushing, pulling, reaching, and walking. Ability to grasp, stoop, stand, and hold is required.

Working Environment

The work environment may include unsupervised access to restricted areas, travel between facilities, and various shift schedules based on departmental needs.

• Excellent all-weather driving skills and ability to use GPS to find locations.
