Job summary

Medix Staffing Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Lab Trial Coordinator to facilitate and coordinate daily laboratory activities across multiple sites.

You will work with lab assistants to ensure supplies are available, train site staff on study processes, and manage source documents for lab-related projects. You will also collect and record data, oversee data accuracy in platforms, and coordinate sample packaging and shipment to central locations as needed.

Job description

• Facilitates and coordinates daily laboratory trial activities and plays a critical role in the conduct of the study
• Works with lab assistants at various sites in order to ensure appropriate supplies are present at each site for various lab-related projects
• Ensures that other site staff are properly trained on project/study related information and processes
• Assist in creation, management, and maintenance of source documents relating to any lab-related projects
• Reviews and comprehends all agreements generated for lab-related projects
• Collects and records data, as requested for 3rd party agreements, into applicable platforms and spreadsheets
• Oversees data and ensures that is being entered correctly and completely in to applicable
• Identifies and retrieves samples from internal spreadsheets for relay to third party companies for purchase or retrieval
• Coordinates with other sites for shipment or transfer of samples to one central location
• Oversees identification of physical samples within storage freezers and facilities
• Coordinates packaging and shipment of purchased or agreed samples to respective locations previously agreed upon
• Other lab related projects assigned by management as needed
