Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse, dry, inspect, and organize laboratory glassware and reusable supplies.
• Operate and clean laboratory dishwashers and autoclaves.
• Monitor inventory levels, perform routine counts, maintain records, and identify replenishment needs.
• Submit and track supply orders, receive deliveries, rotate stock, and monitor expiration dates.
• Receive, label, log, stage, store, distribute, transfer, and dispose of laboratory samples per procedures.
• Maintain sample identification, condition, documentation, and traceability.
• Prepare test supplies.
• Maintain clean and orderly work and storage areas.
• Complete cleaning logs, inventory records, sample records, equipment charts, and other required docs.
• Enter routine information into laboratory systems.

Max Pay – $22.00-$24.60/hour

Summary

The Laboratory Coordinator primarily supports daily laboratory operations through laboratory glassware washing and preparation, inventory control, supply ordering, and sample handling. The Laboratory Coordinator supports Biology, Chemistry, and Microbiology laboratory operations by monitoring workload, priorities, and staffing needs and providing support across all laboratory areas as needed.
