Job summary

Arthrex Atlanta is seeking a highly organized Lab Coordinator to oversee day-to-day operations and logistics of our bioskills lab environment. This hands-on role ensures labs are prepared, stocked, clean, and functional so healthcare professionals, sales representatives, and internal teams can have a seamless training experience.

You will manage lab events, provide in-lab technical support, handle specimens and equipment, and coordinate cadaver labs and demos under the Medical Education Manager.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute bioskills lab events including setup, breakdown, and cleanup.
  • Deliver in-lab technical support and general troubleshooting.
  • Handle anatomic specimens and lab instrumentation in compliance with safety protocols.
  • Manage logistics for lab equipment, training demos, and materials ensuring timely delivery and readiness.
  • Under the Medical Education Manager, facilitate hands-on orthopedic training programs for surgeons, fellows, residents, and healthcare providers.
  • Serve as a subject matter resource for surgical products, instrumentation, and procedural workflows.

Arthrex Atlanta is seeking a highly organized, hands-onLab Coordinatorto oversee the day-to-day operations and logistics of our medical education and bioskills lab environment. This role is responsible for ensuring labs are fully prepared, properly stocked, clean, organized, and operational so that healthcare professionals, sales representatives, and internal teams can have a seamless training experience.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, comfortable working in a hands-on environment, and capable of managing multiple logistical priorities while maintaining a high standard of organization, cleanliness, and professionalism.

**For individuals with prior orthopedic or surgical technology experience, the role may also provide opportunities to support labs in a scrub tech capacity, assisting with procedural setup and hands-on lab support so that sales representatives and training leaders can remain focused on surgeon and healthcare professional education.

  • Plan and execute all aspects of bioskills lab events including setup, breakdown, and cleanup.
  • Deliver in-lab technical support and general troubleshooting.
  • Handle anatomic specimens and lab instrumentation in compliance with all safety and regulatory protocols.
  • Manage logistics for lab equipment, training demos, and materials ensuring timely delivery and readiness.
  • Under the direction of the Medical Education Manager, facilitate and support hands-on orthopedic training programs for surgeons, fellows, residents, and healthcare providers.
  • Serve as a subject matter resource for surgical products, instrumentation, and procedural workflows.
  • Assist in designing training modules and coordinating cadaver labs, simulations, and in-services.
Facility, Equipment & Inventory Oversight
  • Maintain lab and training center functionality, including AV systems and bioskills equipment.
  • Manage inventory and ordering for lab supplies, PPE, anatomic specimens, and educational materials.
  • Ensure a professional, safe, and engaging environment for all learners and guests.
Administrative & Program Support
  • Communicate lab schedules, confirmations, and post-event follow-ups to participants and internal teams.
  • Maintain accurate records in HCP and CRM systems.
  • Collaborate with the Medical Education Manager on strategic planning, process improvements, and program innovation.
Qualifications:
Required

Preferred

  • Background in sales, medical device support, or surgical services.
  • Familiarity with orthopedic implants, surgical instruments, and procedural steps.
  • Knowledge of bioskills lab operations, CRM software, and clinical education systems.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) check and have reliable transportation.
  • Ability to lift and move medical device equipment/trays as needed (up to 50 lbs).
  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive movements for extended periods.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and reach overhead.
